In this episode of HOW-TO #1 we will be showing you how to set time and date for Rolex Daydate II collection with model number 118239 in 41mm diameter.
1. Day and Date.
Unscrew the crown by turning it in anti-clockwise direction such as above.
Once crown is unscrewed, pull the crown into the first notch to set the day, and the date.
To set the day, turn crown in anti-clockwise direction, while to set the day, is the other way round, clockwise direction. Confused? We’ll show you more clearly below:
2. Time.
To set the time, pull the crown to the second notch while paying attention to second hand is stopping. Wind the crown in clockwise to move time forward, and other way to move time backwards, as shown below.
3. Closing and ready to wear.
With all the time, day and date set to your designated time, push the crown back in, and screw the crown in and make sure that you screwing it tightly to prevent any moisture or dust from going into the internal movement.
PRO TIPS:
Wind the time pass 24hr to know if you set the time in day or night.
DO NOT set your date when the time is showing 10-2, move the time if its needed to set the date.
